We encourage involvement by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.  To register as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, we recommend registering through the State of Michigan Department of Transportation Unified Certification Program website at http://mdot270.state.mi.us:8080/UCP/HomePageServlet  Doing so will allow your business to be classified as a certified DBE vendor for many state and local programs.
